We read every message and reply as soon as we can.

Already using Stocktend? You can also send us a note from the app, in Settings › Help › Tell us something.

How do I get started with Stocktend?

Download Stocktend from the App Store or Google Play. Once it’s on your phone, sign in and create your salon. Setup walks you through your categories, your suppliers and your first delivery note. Then bring your team in: go to Settings › Team, tap Invite and share your salon’s link. Everyone who joins sees the same live stock.

How do I add stock from a delivery note or invoice?

Open the Orders tab, tap Deliveries and add the delivery note or invoice as a PDF or a photo. Our own reader reads PDFs, without AI. Photos, and PDFs it can’t read well, are read by Claude, our AI. You check every line before anything goes on your shelf.

How do I scan products out?

Tap Scan in the middle of the bottom bar. Choose Used on a client, for colour, backwash and anything in a service, or Sold, for retail a client takes home. Scan the barcode and the whole team’s count updates. Not recognised? Search for it, or snap it and Claude AI finds it among your own products.

How do I see what’s running low and reorder?

In Settings › Notifications, choose what running low means for your salon: an amount left, or a percentage of full. Anything at that level shows as running low for the whole team. Then open Orders › Re-order: Stocktend drafts one order for each supplier, and you send it yourself by WhatsApp or email.

Can I track sundries like gloves and foils?

Yes, if you want to. Sundries is an optional category for the things your salon gets through, such as gloves, foils, cotton wool and blades. Switch it on when you set up your shelf, or add it later in Settings › Categories. Colours, Backwash and Retail are there from the start.

How much does it cost, and how do I cancel?

Stocktend is £8.99 a month or £90 a year for your whole team, and every new salon gets a 2-month free trial. You pay in the app, through Apple or Google. Cancel any time in your phone’s App Store or Google Play subscription settings, as deleting the app doesn’t cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

How do I delete my account?

Delete your Stocktend account in the app: Settings › Account › Delete my account. It happens straight away and can’t be undone, so export anything you want to keep first. Your account and personal details are deleted, and copies in our backups are gone within 35 days. If you can’t get into the app, email support@stocktend.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll delete it within 30 days.

In the app

  1. Open Stocktend and tap your initial at the top of the home screen. Settings opens.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
  3. If you own a salon others still use, make one of them the owner. The app shows you how.
  4. Check what goes, tap Continue, then Delete my account. It happens straight away.

What is deleted

  • Your account and personal details: your email address, name and sign-in.
  • If you’re the only one in your salon, the salon and everything in it: products, counts and scans, deliveries, delivery notes, photos, documents, suppliers, orders and settings.
  • If others still use the salon, this phone also stops getting alerts.

Good to know

  • Deleting the app from your phone doesn’t delete your account.
  • Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play too.

What stays

  • If others still use your salon, its stock, deliveries and orders stay with them. What you scanned stays in its history, without your name.
  • App health reports (load times, crashes), which never carry a name, an email or anything you typed. Reports from a deleted salon go with it.
  • Notes you sent from Settings › Help › Tell us something, in our inbox, until 12 months after we reply. Ask and we’ll delete them sooner.
  • Barcodes your salon confirmed, in the shared product list, with no link to your salon.
  • If you shared usage, usage data and screen recordings. They aren’t linked to your account, so we can’t find them by your name.
  • If your salon subscribed, the purchase records kept by Apple or Google and RevenueCat.
  • Copies in our backups, which are deleted automatically within 35 days (see our privacy policy), and anything the law requires us to keep.

When you email us to delete your account, tell us your salon’s name. Our privacy policy has the full detail.

The Stocktend app is made by Ian Magee, sole trader, London, United Kingdom.

What happens to my salon’s data?

It belongs to your salon, and we don’t sell it. Export your stock and stock history to CSV at any time in Settings › Help › Export your data. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who helps us run Stocktend and how long we keep things. For anything about personal data, email privacy@stocktend.com.
